Trekking & Mountain Biking

Immerse yourself in the thrill of trekking and mountain biking, two immensely popular sports embraced by the valleys. Conquering steep ascents or venturing along unspoiled trails creates the perfect backdrop for those with a passion for adventure and physical prowess.

Each year, Borgo Preplans plays host to the ValMeduna Trail, a competition that welcomes both seasoned athletes and enthusiastic beginners. As participants make their way through the course, they are greeted with refreshments, invigorating their spirits and fueling their determination.

So, inflate your tires, fasten your shoelaces tightly, for the realm of sports beckons you here as well!

Getting to Borgo Preplans from Pordenone is very straightforward and can be easily found on Google Maps. You will need to follow the road leading to Maniago and then continue towards Meduno or Tramonti. Once you reach Meduno, you will navigate through the city center, heading towards Tramonti while keeping the square on your left. Approximately 500 meters later, you will encounter Via Marinotti on your left, with signs indicating Borgo Preplans. The signboard will read “Borgata Preplans.” As you proceed along the road, you will come across the Hydroelectric Power Station. From there, you will need to turn left and continue along the road until you reach the village.

The fastest route is via the A27 and then the A28, following the signs for Pordenone, and finally taking the Pordenone-Sequals road. Once you reach Sequals, you will need to follow the directions for Meduno or Tramonti. Upon arrival in Meduno, you will traverse the city center, heading towards Tramonti while keeping the square on your left. About 500 meters later, you will find Via Marinotti on your left, along with signs indicating Borgo Preplans Paludana. The signboard will read “Borgata Preplans.” As you continue along the road, you will come across the Hydroelectric Power Station. There, you will need to turn left and proceed until you reach the village.

La via più veloce è tramite la A27 e poi la A28 seguendo le indicazioni per Pordenone ed infine prendere la Pordenone Sequals. Arrivati a Sequals bisognerà seguire le indicazioni per Meduno o Tramonti. Una volta arrivati a Meduno si percorrerà il centro città seguendo in direzione Tramonti lasciandosi la piazza sulla sinistra. Circa 500m dopo sulla sinistra ci sarà Via Marinotti e le indicazioni per Borgo Preplans Paludana, il cartello indica “Borgata Preplans”. Percorrendo la strada, ci si troverà di fronte alla centrale Idroelettrica, li bisognerà girare a sinistra e percorrere la strada fino al Borgo.
